Take that, Balanced Literacy!

For the last two days, I have been instructing my students in diagramming sentences. And guess what: they are getting it, and they are liking it!

    We've introduced organized grammar into all our freshman classes (and will extend them to other grades). This includes diagramming sentences. A hit with us, too.
