four wheeled freedom

Last week was a trying one for me. For a couple nights I barely slept, so the last two days I was a complete zombie.

Also, one of my already-difficult parents totally crossed the line.

But! There are only four weeks left of school, and none of them is a full one. Because of trips and other events, I'll only be teaching two or three days of each week! We've got some projects to work on in class as well, so I'm hoping the days go quickly.

Even better, I have a bike! I bought it a couple weeks ago and this week had it fixed up. Last night I went for a ride for an hour and LOVED it. I can't wait to explore more of the city on two wheels!

There is always one parent in the group. It's like a curse on teachers. And most of the time it's the parent of the worst kid in the class!!

You have a great weekend to enjoy your bike, and the exercise will help you sleep--although there is no cure for dreams (nightmares) about school. I had a dream catcher on my bedpost for years--it didn't help :(

I always say that the best thing to do when things get tough at school with teaching is find something that you love to do that you can look forward to. Congrats on the bike, and have fun! :)
