I really believe change is good. Go read Who Moved My Cheese. Did you happen to catch the Mickey Rourke interview on Charlie Rose. He said when you are down, there is always hope.
If it's money, don't be afraid to sub or join a temp agency. I did during my layoff. If it's a good school, the day will go fast and you are not responsible for one iota of paperwork. I am not sure if the DoE is making it easy for subs now. Klein is into so much red tape.

I want to tell you not to cry, but sometimes the crying can be cathartic. It (everything) will be okay. It might take time, but it will.
