No Really, Read the Fine Print
One morning, while walking to the UFT workshop series in July, someone was handing out granola bars with postcards. Figuring that hell, I never say no to free, I accepted both. I stuffed the bar into my bag for future snacking potential, and then read the postcard. I actually laughed out loud on the streets of Manhattan at these descriptions:

I visited the UFT building for the first time ever the other week- all I can say is wow. I'm still new to system, but so far have nothin but mad respect for the UFT and the workshops they've had for new teachers this summer- esp the Central Park Zoo visit. Go polar bears!
